Lock Finder
Three questions. One cord.
A locking cord only locks where the other side is built for it. Tell us where it must hold and what it plugs into; we name the mechanism, say why the others are out, and list the cords that fit.
Locks at the PDU outlet:
P-Lock. Two spring tabs, the P-shaped clips on either side of the plug head, click into the latch slots of a P-Lock-ready outlet as the plug seats; pull on the cord and the tabs bear on the outlet, not the pins. Release: Pinch both tabs on the plug head and pull.
Why not the other 4?
- V-Lock: V-Lock locks at both ends. V-Lock needs a V-Lock PDU outlet; you said P-Lock-ready PDU outlet.
- A-Lock: A-Lock locks at the equipment end only; you asked for the pdu end.
- S-Lock: S-Lock locks at the equipment end only; you asked for the pdu end.
- IEC Lock: IEC Lock locks at the equipment end only; you asked for the pdu end.
