Zonit Z-Lock is end of life. Z-Lock+ is its replacement — the same dual-locking cord with colored ID rings and a one-hand release, built here in Connecticut. Remaining Z-Lock stock is listed below.
What changed in Z-Lock Plus™ (Z-Lock+) Locking Power Cords (6)
- Colored ID rings — identify the circuit, feed or rack at a glance instead of tracing cables by hand.
- Integrated sliding-shell release — the shell is the release: a one-hand disconnect replaces the original red tabs.

About Zonit Z-Lock power cords (end of life, remaining stock)
Zonit Z-Lock is end of life. Its replacement is Z-Lock Plus™ (Z-Lock+) — the same dual-locking IEC power cord with colored ID rings, a one-hand sliding-shell release and a lower-profile locking nut, built by World Cord Sets in East Windsor, Connecticut. Z-Lock cords already in your racks keep working, and Z-Lock+ locks into the same standard C13/C14 and C19/C20 outlets and inlets, so the two can be mixed as you replace them.
The original Z-LOCK is a universally compatible, dual-locking power cord: it locks C13, C14, C15, C19 and C20 cords on both ends, eliminating accidental disconnects. The remaining Z-Lock stock is listed below.

The IEC 60320 C14 is a Plug (Male) configuration rated for 250VAC and 15 Amps. The Z-Lock is a universal locking plug type, designed to lock into place by expanding the size of the plug head after insertion by spinning the rotary lock on the plug head.

The IEC 60320 C13 is a grounded 3 Wire connector rated up to 250V and 15 Amps. The C13 mates with a C14 inlet, and is commonly used in a jumper cable scenario in IT Installations providing power from a PDU to a server, router, switch or other computing device. Most people know the C13 as 'the thing that plugs into my computer' because it is the standard connector used to power most desktop computers. In a desktop computer application, the most common cable is the NEMA 5-15P to C13, which connects your standard North American wall outlet to a desktop computer.

The IEC 60320 C19 Locking Connector is rated for 20 Amps and 250VAC. It is a grounded connector type, with the A-Lock feature for latching the connector in place once it is mated. The A-Lock is a universal locking mechanism that internally pinches the pins of the male/inlet that it connects with. This effectively holds the connector in place until the user pinches and pulls back the two red tabs located on either side of the connector body.

About Zonit Z-Lock power cords (end of life, remaining stock)
How it holds: Zonit's original dual-locking cord, a C14 or C20 plug that locks into the PDU outlet and a C13, C15 or C19 connector that locks into the equipment inlet, on standard IEC 60320 receptacles with no special PDU. The cords here carry Well Shin's locking plug (WS-003) and auto-locking connector (WS-003A), a red slider at each end; Zonit's later zC14 / zC20 plug used a knurled locking nut instead.
Status: end of life. The remaining stock is below. Its successor, Z-Lock+, locks into the same standard outlets and inlets, so racks can be migrated one cord at a time; it adds coloured ID rings, a one-hand sliding-shell release, a visible seating line and a lower-profile nut, and is built by World Cord Sets in Connecticut.
How to release: pull the red slider back at the end you are freeing and pull; on a nut-type plug, loosen the nut as far as it goes.
