Lock Finder
Three questions. One cord.
A locking cord only locks where the other side is built for it. Tell us where it must hold and what it plugs into; we name the mechanism, say why the others are out, and list the cords that fit.
Locks at the equipment inlet:
A-Lock. Spring fingers inside the connector grip the pins of any standard C14, C16 or C20 inlet as it is pushed on. The plug is a standard, non-locking plug, so the PDU side does not matter. Release: Pinch the two red tabs on the connector head and pull.
Why not the other 3?
- P-Lock: P-Lock locks at the pdu end only; you asked for the equipment end.
- P-Lite: P-Lite locks at the pdu end only; you asked for the equipment end.
- V-Lock: V-Lock locks at both ends. V-Lock's connector does not lock on a standard Standard C14 inlet; it needs a V-Lock inlet.
